Like lacrosse, Bellevue High School Water Polo is a club sport. As such, the program receives limited funding from the Bellevue School District. The program is funded primarily by players, parents and fundraisers.
However, the water polo program is affiliated with and recognized by Bellevue High School as an official sport. Varsity athletes receive letters. The team is recognized in assemblies and other school functions. Athletes must complete a physical and sports eligibility packet, sign and abide by the BSD Purple Policy, and comply with all WIAA rules and regulations in order to participate (just like all other WIAA-sanctioned sports).
Bellevue High School Boys and Girls Water Polo are extremely thankful for the support of BHS administration and athletic department.
