Introducing Coach Ali Goldsmith, Head Coach of JV’s and Assistant Coach

Ali Goldsmith has joined the Bellevue Water Polo coaching staff as assistant coach for the 2023 Boy’s season. Ali earned All American status and all SCIAC player while playing for Occidental College in Los Angeles.  During her tenure at Occidental, Ali helped bring home Oxy’s first  National Championship. Most recently, summer of 2023,  Ali coached 10u and 12u teams at Northwest Water Polo and took a 10u team to the Junior Olympics.  Ali has 3 kids, all in the Bellevue School district and all are Water Polo players. Bellevue beats SI, 14-5

A beautiful, sunny Senior Night capped off Bellevue’s last home game of the season, versus Sammamish Interlake. A wonderful turnout encouraged the Wolverines as they pushed against the Sirens to take the game, 14-5. Our Seniors, Lili Braun, Paige Heinemann, and Ava Grays, all got extra playing time during the game, and each girl finished the game having scored a goal! Bellevue beats Mercer Island, 8-3

The rain didn’t damper the Wolverines’ rematch against rivals Mercer Island. Bellevue played an energetic and action-packed game, taking the W, 8-3. The ball was equally possessed between both teams, which did limit Bellevue’s offense, however, Bellevue did have some great plays and shots off. Ashley Kwon played an amazing game, scoring 5 goals in addition to 3 assists and 4 steals. Lacey Aquaro also played great, with 2 goals, 3 assists, and a steal.
