Another week of stiff competition for Bellevue is now in the books.  Fully half of the adventure of playing in Puyallup is just getting there.  Bellevue’s Charter Coach left campus for Rogers at 3:30 PM.  I left at the same time, and seeing the traffic on 405 South, I decided to get creative and take I-90 to the Snoqualmie cutoff heading south to Auburn.  Taking this huge detour didn’t help.  Nearly two hours later, when I was within a couple miles of Rogers HS, I pulled right up behind our bus which had taken 405 …

Bellevue JV’s Tie with Shorewood at Innis Arden, Varsity Drops 2 Games to Shorewood

In the first cool weather game of the season so far, Bellevue matched up against Shorewood HS twice in a week. The first game last week on Monday was a surprise to Bellevue Varsity as they thought Shorewood would be an easy win to put into their portfolio.  Shorewood has consistently strong players who can shoot successfully from outside, and also break through to shoot from inside the 5 meter.  Bellevue managed to mostly shut down Shorewood’s players at the 2 meter line, with muscle from Aidric George, Bob Frazer and Tom Jamilov all wrestling …

Saturday 9/23 Game at Innis Arden Swim Club

Today at 4:30 PM BHS matches up against Shoreline for their second game against Shoreline this week.  Parents must provide transportation to the game.  Bellevue dropped their first game against Shoreline in spite of the fact that Bellevue had controlled possessions in the second half of the game.  Innis Arden has several strong shooters who will drill down from the outside.  Come watch Bellevue go head to head against a challenging team tonight at 4:30.
