A beautiful sunny day brought good vibes to the Bellevue Girls at Innis Arden today, Throughout the entire game, Bellevue worked to maintain command of the pool via communication, strong defense, and “head-on-a-swivel” offense, and came out on top with a victory over the Shorecrest Scots 15-3! Tails never fails! Coach Adam Florsheim called tails in our coin flip of the triple overtime today at Innis Arden Pool in Shoreline, facing the Shorewood Stormrays at their home pool. The Wolverines gave it their absolute all for this marathon of a game, ending with a triple overtime, golden goal, scored by freshman Ellie Albert, bringing the final score to 10-9, Bellevue. The Wolverines continued their march to state through the cold and dark night at Samena pool, topping local rivals Sammamish Interlake, 13-1, bringing the season record up to 6-0.
