The Wolverine Boys competed in North/South regionals Friday and Saturday earning a berth to the State Tournament held next Thursday, Nov 9-Saturday, Nov 11. The boys battled throughout the tournament beating Puyallup, Newport and Roosevelt (4th) earning the 3rd Region II spot at State. Mercer Island (2nd) and Curtis (1st) round out the Region II teams. Bellevue will face Region I Auburn Riverside(2nd) at 6:30pm on Thursday, Nov 9 at Curtis High School. WAY TO GO WOLVERINES!

The Wolverines travelled to San Diego to compete in the 40-team San Diego Open Tournament.  The team arrived in San Diego on Thursday  and started off with a resounding 12-8 win over Mission Bay. Later that evening, the team faced California HS from Whittier. The Wolverines battled to the end, but Cal bested the team 11-8. On Friday, the team played at Valhalla HS facing Valley Center Jaguars. Bellevue was up early, but the Jaguars rallied and tied it up in the 4th. The Bellevue High School boys water polo team traveled to Oregon to attend the 2017 Newberg High School Boys Water Polo Tournament. Ten pacific NW teams competed in the two day event. The Bellevue boys started their impressive tournament run with a 14-5 win over West Albany on Friday evening. On Saturday, the Wolverines faced the South Eugene Axemen in their second game.
