Bellevue beats Northshore, 16-0
It was a clean sheet today for the Bellevue Wolverines, beating Northshore 16-0 on another beautiful, sunny day. Energized from a 6-0 JV tournament from Sunday, the girls continued their undefeated record, now 3-0.
A tie for top goal scorer from this game went to Ellie Albert and Ashley Kwon, each with 5 goals. Joey Ives followed closely with 4 goals, plus 2 ejections drawn. Props to Yejee Park, with 4 assists and 4 steals, valuable on both offense and defense. Our goal keepers, Riley Neibert and Audrey Grays, shut out Northshore, each with 2 saves. Riley also had 4 steals.
This game was an excellent opportunity for more exposure in the pool and as preparation setting up in defense and offensive positions. First quarter, Bellevue came out with a bang, constantly benefitted from their opportunities and steals, scoring 8 goals. In the second quarter, the girls maintained their momentum on offense and defense, putting up 4 more unanswered points. The third and fourth quarters turned out 2 goals each.
