Bellevue Girls Clinch 4th at State!

The 3-day State Tournament held May 22-24 at Curtis HS proved exciting and tested our Varsity team. With back-to-back nail-biting games on Day 1 & 2, Bellevue came up short on the first day with a 2-3 loss to Mercer Island.  Our girls rallied and triumphed over Puyallup 4-3 on Day 2.  On the final day of State, Bellevue held off rival Newport with a tremendous 5-3 victory in a morning game, giving us a chance at 3rd place.  Our last opponent, Ingraham, pulled off a huge upset and beat Bellevue 9-6.  We walked away with a very respectable 4th place!
