Bellevue Finishes Season 5th at State
The Wolverines started the State Water Polo Tournament at Curtis High School on Thursday, Nov 9 with a 10-8 win over 2nd seed, Auburn Riverside. On Friday, the team faced defending champs Curtis HS. Bellevue kept it close with a 5-2 score at the half. In the end, the Vikings proved to be the stronger team.
On Saturday morning, the team faced off with Bainbridge. Bellevue battled hard, but fell short of the win; setting up the final game for 5th place against Auburn Riverside. This time around, the Wolverines showed no mercy and were up 9-1 heading into half time. It was truly a team effort with all playing in the final game and contributing to the win!
