3 Wolverines Named Academic All-Americans

Last week, three Bellevue High athletes were recognized by USA Water Polo as 2013-2014 Academic All-Americans.

Senior girls co-captain Julie Mao and senior boys co-captains Liam Naughton and Marco Stanchi were each named Outstanding Academic All-Americans.

To be honored as an Outstanding Academic All-American, student-athletes must have a 4.0 GPA or higher and compete in a USA Water Polo national event. Both Naughton and Mao competed at the 2014 Junior Olympics, while Stanchi competed at the 2014 FINA Youth World Championships.
