Girls Compete at Lakes Jamboree
On Saturday, March 9th, two days prior to the official start of Bellevue’s Spring Season, the girls played four games in the Lakes Jamboree at Lakes High School in Tacoma, Washington. This was their first event playing as a team and provided all the athletes with great experience.
Opponents included the Stadium Tigers, Enumclaw Hornets, Lakes Lancers and Curtis Vikings. With a focus on defense, the lady Wolverines saw improvement in their game performance and final scores with each match, culminating in their first goal by junior Sophia Pasewark. Goalie Katherine Shogren led the team with several outstanding saves.
The Wolverines are looking forward to kicking off the season Monday, March 11th versus the defending state champions, the Newport Knights. Please come support the team at 4:30pm at Woodridge Pool!
