Bellevue Downs Bainbridge 22-9

In their second league match-up of the season, the Bellevue Boys Water Polo team defeated Bainbridge Island 22-9 on Wednesday afternoon at Woodridge Pool.

Junior two-meter Silas Clapham led the offensive output with six goals and three ejections drawn.  Freshman Zack Rossman added four assists.  Arlen Hughes, George French and Liam Naughton each had three goals.

Goalie Reed Hendrickson helped the Wolverines build a 12-3 halftime lead by holding the Spartans to nine blocks.  In the second half, junior Garrett Moffatt made his varsity debut, posting four blocks and two steals.

Bellevue (12-2) returns to action on Monday at 8:30pm against Roosevelt.
